Do you suffer from worry, negative self-image, feelings of worthlessness, and a general sense of unease that affects most aspects of your life? Do you feel like something is wrong despite others trying to convince you that everything is fine? Do these issues damage your relationships due to the fact that you're unsure of how to navigate boundaries in light of your strong feelings? Are you interested in exploring these issues in a therapeutic setting that involves bonding with a horse?
Welcome to my practice! I'm a dedicated associate-level therapist specializing in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy for children 5+, teens, and adults. I create a compassionate, nurturing environment enriched by the intuitive presence of horses. In these safe, supportive spaces, my clients can authentically explore their feelings and experiences, empowering them to confront and heal their traumas. My approach is tailored to each client’s unique journey, not only aiming to resolve symptoms but also to unlock pathways to personal growth and a more fulfilling life.
In addition to utilizing the HEAL model of Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I use this evidence-based trauma treatment to help clients process through both significant and subtle traumas, recognizing that symptoms like anxiety, depression, and numbing behaviors often stem from unresolved emotional pain.
Whether you’re dealing with trauma, anxiety, or simply seeking personal growth, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Let’s work together to start your journey to healing and a brighter future!
